PAASAM is a home for the elderly located at Mamallapuram. Paasam provides care for the elderly people who seek its help.

Life goes round in circles .That is why when people reach the last years of their lives they begin to behave like children again. We all were once cared for by these elders. It is only fair if we return the favor and care for them as they did for us when we were young. At Paasam we do just that.

PAASAM is supported by Shoshin Kai Academy (SKA) and Venba which are voluntary, non profit organizations. The organizations work towards the development of children, women, aged and needy all over India.

Paasam was founded by Mr.S.R.Arun. S.R.Arun is a professionally qualified social worker. He is a social work graduate who earned his degree in 1994 from the prestigious Loyola College in Chennai.

Being a social worker by profession, he devotes his time to help the community around him. It is his dream to develop a sustainable and just society to care for humanity. The founding of Paasam was one step towards the fulfillment of his dream.
